Adjacent to our campsite, the Jessup’s Falls Conservation Area offers a delightful escape with its picturesque surroundings. You can take advantage of the abundance of picnic tables, perfect for enjoying a delicious meal amidst the natural splendor. Whether it’s a family gathering, a romantic lunch, or simply a moment of tranquility, these picnic areas provide the ideal setting for a memorable outdoor dining experience.
For those eager to explore the serene waters, the conservation area also boasts a convenient boat launch and dock. Set sail on the shimmering waters, cruise along the river’s edge, or indulge in a day of fishing, all just steps away from your camping site.
Papanack Park Zoo
The Papanack Park Zoo is a small zoo in Wendover, Ontario, Canada. It opened in 1994 and came under new ownership in 2014 with the intention of acting as a conservation park.
Mariposa Farm
People are increasingly more interested in where their food is grown. They welcome visitors at the farm, and also offer unique cabin rentals for overnight stays.
Mariposa has a farm store open on Saturdays. The farm also offers curbside pick ups and home deliveries.
